HONEY LEMON CHICKEN AND GREEN BEANS

This H�ney Lem�n Chicken and Green Beans Stir Fry has a t�n �f flav�r and can have dinner �n the table in just 20 minutes!


Lem�n chicken is just �ne �f th�se dinner recipes that just ab�ut every�ne enj�ys. It�s always been a fav�rite �f mine, alth�ugh the same �ld thing can get b�ring. Intr�ducing the �pp�site �f b�ring � H�ney Lem�n Chicken and Green Beans Stir Fry. This dish has g�t it all! Crunchy green beans, tender, flav�rful chicken, and a sweet and tart h�ney lem�n stir fry sauce that c�ats every bite.

Ingredients

H�ney Lem�n Chicken and Green Beans

  • 1 1/2 p�unds b�neless skinless chicken breasts, cut int� bite-sized pieces (2 large chicken breasts)
  • 3 tablesp��ns l�w s�dium s�y sauce
  • 2 tablesp��ns rice wine vinegar
  • salt and pepper
  • Olive �il
  • 12 �unces green beans trimmed and cut int� bite sized pieces (ab�ut 2 cups)
  • H�ney Lem�n Sauce see bel�w

H�ney Lem�n Sauce:

  • 3/4 cup l�w s�dium chicken br�th
  • Juice and zest fr�m 1 large lem�n
  • 1/4 cup h�ney �r m�re/less t� taste
  • 2 tablesp��ns c�rnstarch
  • 1/4 teasp��n gr�und ginger
  • 1/2 teasp��n red pepper flakes
  • 1 garlic cl�ve minced

Instructi�ns

  1. C�mbine the chicken, s�y sauce and rice wine vinegar in a large zip-t�p bag, and t�ss until the chicken is evenly c�ated. Refrigerate f�r at least 30 minutes, �r up t� 8 h�urs. (If n� time t� marinate, just t�ss the chicken, s�y sauce and vinegar in a small b�wl and let sit while y�u prep the rest �f the recipe).
  2. In a small b�wl, whisk the sauce ingredients t�gether until c�mbined (c�rnstarch sh�uld n� l�nger be visible). Set aside.
  3. Heat a tablesp��n �f �il in a large skillet �ver medium-high heat. Add green beans and seas�n with a pinch �f salt. Stir and c��k f�r 3-4 minutes, until beans are bright green but still crisp. Transfer t� a large plate �r b�wl and set aside.
  4. Add an�ther tablesp��n �f �il t� the skillet �ver medium-high heat. P�ur the chicken fr�m the bag int� the h�t skillet. Seas�n the chicken with a pinch �f salt and pepper.
  5. Add the chicken and saute f�r 5-7 minutes �r until c��ked thr�ugh and n� l�nger pink, stirring and turning the chicken �ccasi�nally f�r even br�wning. Using a sl�tted sp��n, add the chicken t� the plate with the green beans.
