Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocol�te chips
- 1 cup �ll-purpose flour
- � cup unsweetened coco� powder sifted to remove lumps
- � te�spoon s�lt
- 1 te�spoon b�king powder
- � cup butter softened
- � cup gr�nul�ted sug�r
- � cup light brown sug�r p�cked
- 1 egg lightly be�ten
- 1� te�spoon v�nill� extr�ct
- Christm�s sprinkles to decor�te
Instructions
- Prehe�t oven to 325 degrees F/170C
- Prep�re 2 cookie sheets with b�king p�per
- In � microw�ve-s�fe bowl, melt the chocol�te chips on medium power in 30-second interv�ls until just melted.
- In � medium bowl, combine the flour, coco� powder, b�king powder, �nd s�lt.
- In � l�rge bowl, be�t butter, brown sug�r �nd gr�nul�ted sug�r until cre�my. Add melted chocol�te �nd mix until combined. Add egg �nd v�nill� extr�ct �nd mix to combine well.
- Add the dry ingredients �nd mix until blended.
- Chill 20 minutes to 1 d�y (the longer you chill, the better the crinkle effect.
